Private Lesson Policies:

Cancellation & Make-up Policy:

Cappelli Institute of Music requires that families provide 24 hours of notice for cancellation. Lessons cancelled without 24 hours notice are ineligible for make-up. Up to two (2) lessons per semester can be made up if 24 hours of notice is given. Students who need to schedule a make-up lesson can speak to their instructor about available times and days.

Refunds are not given for missed lessons:

Teachers reserve and hold the appointed lesson time selected by you specifically for you or your child and cannot reschedule vacancies without prior notification.  We will make every effort to reschedule missed lessons that have been cancelled with adequate notification at a mutually convenient time for the student and instructor.  

 Summer Session Policy:

We allow up to three (3) weeks of time away with credit given (during the summer session only) to families who request this in the first or second week of the semester.  This arrangement allows a student to retain their scheduled lesson time without being removed from the schedule.  Any requests after the second week will not result in credits issued. Credits will be issued if requested at the beginning of the summer session (weeks one and two).  After that time credits do not apply.
